One Million Cans. Thank You!

I quit my job in November 2012 to write the business plan for "Baccary Brewing Co.," which quickly became Station 26 Brewing Co. in December when I identified a vacant fire station in northeast Denver. Twelve months (and many sleepless nights) later, we opened the doors on a snowy Saturday a few days before Christmas.

Selling cans wasn't in that initial business plan. But now, here we are - we sold our millionth can earlier this month.

We're now three and a half years old, and I'm amazed at how far we've come. Originally, I wanted only to build a neighborhood taproom - one that served as an inviting communal space for beer lovers and a place that could always be counted on to produce a variety of delicious beers to enjoy with friends and strangers.

Now, we're all of that and more. This business has taken off in directions I never envisioned. We're now 20 people strong and we're sharing our beer in kegs and cans from Denver to Fort Collins and Colorado Springs.

Thanks to everyone who has visited the taproom or ordered a pint of Juicy Banger IPA when you were out at the bar, or bought one of those million cans off the shelves. It's been a blast so far and I'm excited to see where this journey takes us in the future! For you, for all.
